The still softness of snow...
When winter spreads its white blanket over our mountains, the scenery around Andalo takes on an even more fairytale look.
Ski enthusiasts will love the Paganella ski area with its modern ski-lifts and more than 50 km of slopes, all with perfect snow thanks to the recently designed artificial snow facilities which provide full cover for the entire area. Cross-country skiers will enjoy the 3 km trail around the bowl of Lago di Andalo (a programmed artificial snow facility guarantees cover), lit up in the evening until 9.00 p.m. and with another outer ring of 5 km running through the surrounding fir trees. For those who prefer other winter sports alternatives, there are opportunities aplenty for snowboarding, sleighing, skating or hockey in the modern ice stadium. An additional option is to take wonderful walks across the snow using snow shoes to discover a natural environment of rare beauty. Come and ski where Bode Miller and the US ski team train!
